How does the Great Vault work?
In the Midnight expansion, the Great Vault is an updated weekly reward system. To unlock reward choices, you complete activities such as Mythic+ keystones, Delves, and boss kills in the current raid. The item level of your Vault reward is tied to the difficulty of the content you complete.
No matter how many options you unlock, you can claim only one item after the weekly reset. Completing more objectives simply increases the number of choices available.
What is the fate of weekly PvP rewards?
Starting from The War Within, The Great Vault no longer provides weekly rewards for PvP objectives. Previously, there was a weekly Honor-related objective, but weekly rewards are now tied to PvE activities only.
What ilvl items can be obtained from the Great Vault for Delves?
Below is the Great Vault item level you can unlock from Delves:
- Tier 1 — 233 ilvl gear;
- Tier 2 — 237 ilvl gear;
- Tier 3 — 240 ilvl gear;
- Tier 4 — 243 ilvl gear;
- Tier 5 — 246 ilvl gear;
- Tier 6 — 253 ilvl gear;
- Tier 7 — 256 ilvl gear;
- Tier 8+ — 259 ilvl gear.
To unlock Vault choices from this track, complete 2 Delves for 1 option, 4 Delves for 2 options, and 8 Delves for 3 options.
What ilvl items can be obtained from the Great Vault for Raid?
Below is the Great Vault item level you can unlock from Midnight raid objectives:
- LFR bosses defeated — 233–250 item level;
- Normal bosses defeated — 246–263 item level;
- Heroic bosses defeated — 259–276 item level;
- Mythic bosses defeated — 272–289 item level.
To unlock Vault choices from this track, defeat 2 bosses for 1 option, 4 bosses for 2 options, and 6 bosses for 3 options.
What ilvl items can be obtained from the Great Vault for Mythic+ Dungeons?
Below is the Great Vault item level you can unlock from Mythic+ Keystones:
- Mythic+0 completion — 256 ilvl gear;
- Mythic+2 or Mythic+3 — 259 ilvl gear;
- Mythic+4 or Mythic+5 — 263 ilvl gear;
- Mythic+6 — 266 ilvl gear;
- Mythic+7 / Mythic+8 / Mythic+9 — 269 ilvl gear;
- Mythic+10 or higher — 272 ilvl gear.
