The Four Raids of Midnight Season 1

Midnight splits its first raid tier across separate instances instead of one long dungeon crawl. The Voidspire is the six-boss centerpiece in the Voidstorm, ending on Crown of the Cosmos, the encounter against a Void-consumed Alleria Windrunner. The Dreamrift is a single-boss raid in Harandar against Chimaerus, the Undreamt God - short, but tuned closer to a mid-raid wall than a freebie. March on Quel'Danas closes the main storyline north of Silvermoon City with two encounters, Belo'ren, Child of Al'ar and the Midnight Falls finale against L'ura. Patch 12.0.7 then added Sporefall, a single-boss raid against Rotmire that drops Sporefused gear at the highest item level of the season, plus its own pool of spore-themed cosmetics.

Lockouts and Loot Rules in Midnight

All Midnight raids use Group Loot - there is no Personal Loot option - and loot eligibility is limited to one clear per raid per difficulty each week. Normal and Heroic lockouts are flexible, while Mythic ties you to a saved raid ID until the weekly reset. One change matters especially for carry runs: item level restrictions on trading are removed inside Midnight raids, so eligible drops can be passed between raid members more freely than in past expansions.

Can all four raids be cleared in a single weekly reset?

Yes. Each raid carries its own separate lockout, so The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, March on Quel'Danas, and Sporefall can all be cleared within the same reset, with each run booked as its own session.

Does Sporefall count toward Ahead of the Curve?

No. Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge exist only for the three main Season 1 raids. Defeating Rotmire grants the permanent Heroic: Rotmire and Mythic: Rotmire achievements instead.

Which raids drop tier set pieces?

Tier tokens are split across the three main raids: The Voidspire covers head, shoulders, gloves, and legs, The Dreamrift is the only source of the chest token, and March on Quel'Danas drops tokens usable for any slot. Sporefall drops no tier pieces.

Do I need a high item level for the runs?

No. Premade groups have no item level gate (only Raid Finder enforces one), and the team covers the damage and healing checks on every difficulty.

Can I order only some of the raids or mix difficulties?
