Did 1.0 add new tower bosses?
Yes, two: the Tower of the Azure Covenant in the new Sunreach region, and the Sealed Calamity finale in the World Tree, fought at the level cap. The existing seven towers were also fully reworked - new arenas, new attack patterns, and retuned difficulty.
Do the towers have to be cleared in order?
No - the classic seven can be fought in any order, and there is no requirement to beat one before another. The real gates sit on the 1.0 fights: the Azure Covenant tower needs Sunreach access (reached through Feybreak Tower) plus its unlock quest, and the World Tree finale needs main-story progress. If yours are not open yet, tell us on live chat and we will bundle the prerequisites into the order.
What is the difference between Normal and Hard mode?
Hard is the same duo in a stronger form - extra enemies, faster patterns, and difficulty retuned in 1.0 around the level 80 cap. Story progression only needs the Normal clear; Hard exists for the challenge and the bigger reward pool, and the booster can run either.
