This Season's Mythic+

The dungeon pool and the seasonal rewards refresh every few months, so this section is the part of the page that changes; how keys, loot and rating work, further down, stays the same season to season.

This season's rotation is led by the brand-new Altar of Fangs, alongside a set of returning dungeons pulled from across WoW's history - pick a dungeon or a key level from the tiles above.

The seasonal rating ladder pays out its own titles and mounts: Keystone Master awards the Breath of Blight mount, Keystone Legend the Breath of Ruin, and the top Keystone Myth tier awards the Timelost Saddle, a token traded for a season mount. Seasonal Champion and Seasonal Hero sit above the standard ladder for the season's hardest pushers.

Gear upgrades this season run on Mistcrests, the crest currency you earn from keys and other endgame content.

How Mythic+ Works

Mythic+ turns the game's dungeons into a timed, scaling challenge. You slot a Keystone in at the start, and the key's level sets the difficulty - higher keys mean tougher enemies and better rewards. Beat the timer and your key upgrades for next time; miss it and the run still counts, just at a lower level. A rotating set of weekly affixes layers extra mechanics on top, so the same dungeon plays differently from one week to the next.

Loot and the Great Vault

Mythic+ pays out twice. Every timed run drops gear at the end, and higher keys drop a higher item level - up to a ceiling, after which extra key levels stop improving your loot and become purely about rating. On top of that, your runs through the week fill your weekly Great Vault, which hands you a pick of even higher gear at the next reset. Clearing keys early each week to fill every Vault slot is the core Mythic+ routine.

Rating, Titles and Mounts

Every run also builds your Mythic+ rating for the season, and as it climbs it unlocks a ladder of achievements, each with its own title and often a mount - the well-known Keystone Master, Hero and Legend milestones, with higher tiers above them. Because rating resets every season, these are time-limited prestige rewards that show exactly where you finished before the slate is wiped. Which Mythic+ Service Should You Pick?
