As an Uber-tier Mythic Unique, Melted Heart of Selig has one of the lowest drop rates in Diablo 4. It only drops on Torment difficulty, and even then the odds on any single boss kill are tiny, so farming it by hand can mean hundreds of tormented boss runs with no set point at which it lands. The deterministic route is to craft it with Resplendent Sparks and Runes, but the Sparks come from salvaging other Mythic Uniques, which is costly on its own. Either path is a heavy time and resource sink, which is exactly what a farm service removes.

Melted Heart of Selig can drop from any enemy on Torment, but Lair Bosses give by far the best odds.
