World of Warcraft: Midnight is almost here, and Blizzard has shared a final checklist of activities players should complete before the expansion launches worldwide on March 2, 2026 at 3:00 PM PST. Many rewards — including mounts, achievements, and seasonal content — will either disappear or become significantly harder to obtain once the update goes live.
What Should You Finish Before Midnight?
As The War Within reaches its final stage, now is the perfect time to wrap up unfinished goals around Khaz Algar — especially content tied to Season 3.
The War Within Season 3
Raids
When Midnight launches, several raid rewards will no longer be obtainable or will become much rarer:
- Dimensius, the All-Devouring
- Royal Voidwing — the Heroic mount will no longer be available.
- Unbound Star-Eater — the Mythic mount will remain, but with a significantly reduced drop rate.
Dungeons
The following achievements and rewards from Season 3 will no longer be available once Midnight launches:
- Hard Mode: Tazavesh, the Veiled Market — defeat So’leah on Hard Mode.
- Flawless Transaction — clear Hard Mode without any deaths.
- The Unbound Dungeon Master
- Complete all Hard Mode encounters in one lockout.
- Includes roles for Tank, Healer, and Damage Dealer.
- Rewards the "Triple Threat" title.
- Keystone Explorer: Season Three — complete a Mythic+ dungeon in time.
- Keystone Conqueror: Season Three — reach 1,500 Mythic+ rating (awards “the Unbound”).
- Keystone Master: Season Three — reach 2,000 rating.
- Rewards the Azure Void Flyer mount.
- Keystone Hero: Season Three — reach 2,500 rating.
- Season 3 Keystone Teleports — earned by completing +10 or higher for each dungeon.
Delves
At the end of Season 3’s Delver’s Journey, these achievements will disappear:
- My Stab-Happy Nemesis — defeat Nexus-Princess Ky'veza before the next season.
- Let Me Solo Her: Nexus-Princess Ky'veza — defeat her solo.
- Pruning the Princess — rewards the "Contract Killer" title.
Currency Changes
With Midnight’s launch:
- Undercoin, Restored Coffer Keys, and Untainted Mana-Crystals will convert into Resonance Crystals.
- Items previously purchased with Undercoin will move to Reno Jackson in Dornogal.
- Delver’s Journey rewards will also become available through this vendor.
Limited-Time Events Ending Soon
Winds of Mysterious Fortune — Ends February 22
- +20% experience gain
- +50% reputation worldwide
- Extra satchels with valuable items
This is one of the best opportunities to level alts or finish reputation grinds before the expansion.
Twilight Ascension Pre-Expansion Event — Ends March 2
- When: January 27 – March 2
- Where: Twilight Highlands
- Currency: Twilight Blade Insignia
- Minimum Level: 10+
Remaining insignias will convert into Resonance Crystals after the event.
Prepare for Midnight
As the launch approaches, now is the time to finalize your Season 3 goals, secure rare mounts, and complete achievements before they’re gone.
