WoW Midnight's next content update, patch 12.1 (Curse of Ula'tek), finally answers one of the most requested housing features: a set of basic building pieces you can use to shape your own structures instead of leaning on decorating workarounds.
The kit is deliberately simple - wooden panels, tiles, columns, and redesigned stairs - but every piece is recolorable and cheap, and the reworked staircases make multi-level builds far easier to pull off.

The pieces are sold by special vendors in the housing district, with no extra unlocks or requirements to purchase them. Prices run from 25 to 100 gold per item, so furnishing a full build stays affordable even on a fresh character.
Every piece starts as plain wood but can be recolored freely, so the same panel or column can fit very different themes once you start decorating.
Redesigned stairs are the highlight
Blizzard put the most attention into the stairs. The new straight and spiral models look neater than the current options, spend less of your decor budget, and make multi-level homes much easier to assemble - so more ambitious, layered designs stop fighting the placement limit.
