How Boss Loot Tables Work

Most Uniques can drop anywhere, but each endgame boss has a focused loot table, so killing a specific boss is the fastest way to chase a specific item. Target farming is only available in Torment difficulties, which also unlock Ancestral items and Mythic Unique drops (Mythics do not drop below Torment 1). You summon most bosses by spending a key or completing a set activity, listed in each boss's information line below.

Boss loot tables can shift slightly between seasons and patches as new Uniques are added. This page is kept current for the live season; if Blizzard reshuffles a table mid-patch, the affected boss section is updated. Prefer a guaranteed result over RNG? These Uniques are part of the general drop pool and are not tied to a single boss.

Non-Boss Uniques

These Uniques are not best farmed from a specific Lair Boss table. Target them through broader endgame sources instead - Helltides, Infernal Hordes, caches, gambling at the Purveyor of Curiosities, and the Tree of Whispers.

Belial, Lord of Lies works differently from other bosses: he does not use a single fixed loot table. Instead, his drops come from the boss loot pool you choose after defeating him. The Corrupted Reaper is Season 14's headline boss and the single best source of Mythic Uniques and Pandemonium Fragments in the game. Unlike the Lair Bosses above, she does not have a class-specific Unique table - she rewards from the account-wide Mythic Unique pool (see the Mythic Uniques section below) plus the Fragments used in the Season 14 crafting economy. Fighting her is free, but each Hoard Cache needs a Superior Lair Key. If you want her Mythics without the grind, a Corrupted Reaper boost clears her for you.

How Unique and Mythic Drops Work

Most Uniques can drop at any difficulty, but the strongest versions and all Mythic Uniques are found in Torment. Mythic Uniques always drop at item power 800 with at least one Greater Affix and roll maximum affix values. Some are class-specific and only drop for classes that can equip them. They come from many sources: world drops and bosses, Helltide chests, Obol gambling at the Purveyor of Curiosities, Tree of Whispers caches, Nightmare Dungeons, and target-farmable endgame bosses. In Season 14 the Corrupted Reaper is the densest Mythic source of all.

Mythic Uniques 3.0: Crafting in Season 14

Season 14's Mythic Uniques 3.0 rework changed how you make Mythics. Mythic is now treated as a tier you upgrade an existing Unique into rather than a separate random craft, and the old Jeweler rune-crafting recipe is gone. You now upgrade Uniques to Mythic using crafting materials like Primordial Dust (Refined and Tuned), with the Horadric Cube's Chaotic Reroll for re-rolling, and you stockpile Pandemonium Fragments from the Corrupted Reaper to fund it.
