The output is class-usable: a Necromancer crafting from the One-Hand/Offhand/Shield pool will never roll a Druid-locked offhand, only Necro-eligible options. The conversion fully re-rolls affixes and Greater Affixes on the output - there's no advantage to matching the input Unique to your target.
