Haranir Allied Race Unlock Requirements
The Haranir become playable in Midnight as a new Allied Race. To unlock them, you need to complete the Harandar campaign and earn the achievement Allied Race: Haranir. After unlocking, you can create a Haranir character and you also receive the Ivory Grimlynx mount.
Step-by-Step: How to Unlock Haranir
1) Complete the Harandar Campaign
Finish all three Harandar storylines:
2) Pick Up “The War Beyond the Roots”
After completing the campaign, pick up The War Beyond the Roots from Elder Hagar outside the Harandar Portal in Silvermoon City.

3) Earn the Unlock Achievement
Complete The War Beyond the Roots to earn Allied Race: Haranir. Once you have the achievement, the Haranir will be available on the character creation screen.
What Classes Can Haranir Be?
Haranir can choose 9 out of the 13 classes:
- Druid
- Hunter
- Mage
- Monk
- Priest
- Rogue
- Shaman
- Warlock
- Warrior
Druid Forms and Shaman Totems: Haranir have unique Druid forms and Shaman totems themed around the Harandar zone’s aesthetic.
Haranir Racial Abilities
Haranir have five racial traits:
- Thorn Bloom — 3-minute cooldown that harms enemies and heals allies in a 10-yard range.
- One With Nature — passive that increases your Herbalism and Finesse skills.
- Subterranean Predator — passive that grants bonus damage and experience for defeating Aberrations, Beasts, and Elementals.
- Rootwalking — teleport back to Harandar and travel to different world trees from their roots.
- Lash Out — passive that increases your critical strike damage and healing.
Haranir Heritage Armor
After choosing your class, your Haranir begins at level 10. When you reach level 50, you gain access to the Haranir Heritage Armor.
