By Published Updated ~6 min

The full confirmed August 2026 WoW Trading Post, themed Showdown: all three mounts (Hateforged Blazecycle, Badlands Buzzard, Grandmaster's Royal Board), both Lawbringer sets, every weapon and armour piece with exact Trader's Tender prices, the free Midnight Outlaw bonus, and a spend plan.

The August 2026 WoW Trading Post is live and the theme is Showdown, a Western rotation headlined by three mounts - the returning Hateforged Blazecycle at 500 Tender, the brand-new Badlands Buzzard at 550, and the Grandmaster's Royal Board at 700 - plus two full Lawbringer gunslinger sets and a free Ensemble: Midnight Outlaw bonus reward.

This is the full confirmed line-up from Blizzard: every mount, armour set and weapon with its exact Trader's Tender price, the free Traveler's Log bonus, the Tender math, and a spend-and-freeze plan for a themed month that costs far more than the 1,000 Tender you can earn in it.

How the Trading Post Works

Each month you collect Trader's Tender and spend it on a rotating catalogue of cosmetics. You receive 500 Trader's Tender automatically from the Collector's Cache, and earn up to 500 more from the Traveler's Log, for a monthly total of 1,000. Filling the Log's bar also grants that month's free bonus reward. Unspent Tender never expires and you can freeze one item to hold it past the rotation.

A couple of delves are among the quickest ways to tick Log activities, and a WoW delves boost clears them fast if you are short on time.

August 2026 Mounts

Three mounts this month, and the headline is the return of a promo-only chopper:

The Hateforged Blazecycle (500 Tender) is the cheapest of the three and the big draw - it was formerly part of the Mountain Dew crossover promotion and has never been buyable in-game before, so this is the first time most players can get this deathcycle at all.

The Badlands Buzzard (550 Tender) is the month's brand-new mount, a rare white buzzard fitting the Western theme.

Free Bonus Reward: Ensemble Midnight Outlaw

The free reward for filling the Traveler's Log this month is the Ensemble: Midnight Outlaw, a full outlaw transmog set (two head options plus chest, shirt, shoulders, cloak, waist, hands, legs and feet). It costs no Tender - you earn it purely by completing Log activities, so make it your first priority before spending anything.

Tender Math & Spend Priority

Your income caps at 1,000 Tender for the month, and the Showdown catalogue runs to several thousand across the mounts, sets and weapons - so you cannot buy it all in one month. Prioritise like this:

  • Free first - fill the Traveler's Log for the Ensemble: Midnight Outlaw before spending a single Tender.
  • The Blazecycle if you want it - at 500 Tender the Hateforged Blazecycle is the standout value and a former promo mount that may not return soon.
  • Then the new Badlands Buzzard - 550 Tender for the only genuinely new mount this month.
  • Freeze the rest - freeze one big-ticket piece (a Lawbringer set at 675 or the Royal Board at 700) and buy it next month.
  • Returning items can wait - the Grandmaster's Royal mount, attire and weapons have cycled before and tend to return.

If banking a full 1,000 is a stretch, a WoW quests and farming boost clears the Log activities so you secure the free bonus and your full monthly Tender. Planning your wider month? Our what to do before Season 2 checklist covers the other deadlines worth hitting alongside the Trading Post.

FAQ

What is the August 2026 WoW Trading Post theme?

Showdown, a Western rotation of gunslinger gear, cowboy cosmetics and Lawbringer transmog sets. It is headlined by three mounts and two full Lawbringer sets, with a free Ensemble: Midnight Outlaw bonus reward.

What mounts are on the August 2026 Trading Post?

Three: the Hateforged Blazecycle (500 Tender, a former Mountain Dew promo mount arriving for the first time), the new Badlands Buzzard (550 Tender), and the returning Grandmaster's Royal Board (700 Tender).

What is the free bonus reward this month?

The Ensemble: Midnight Outlaw, a full outlaw transmog set. You earn it for free by filling the Traveler's Log bar through monthly activities - no Tender required, so claim it first.

How much do the Lawbringer sets cost?

Both the Ensemble: Badlands Lawbringer and the Ensemble: Righteous Lawbringer cost 675 Trader's Tender each - the most expensive transmog on the vendor this month.

How much Trader's Tender can I earn in August?

Up to 1,000: 500 automatically from the Collector's Cache, plus up to 500 from the Traveler's Log. A themed month like Showdown costs several thousand in total, so unspent Trader's Tender carries over and you should prioritise.

Is the Hateforged Blazecycle worth buying?

If you like it, yes. At 500 Tender the Hateforged Blazecycle is the cheapest mount this month and was previously a Mountain Dew promotional mount that most players could never obtain, so this is a rare chance to add it cheaply.
