Midnight Dungeons Overview

With the release of Midnight, eight new dungeons join the WoW instances roster. They are tied to four main zones of the expansion: Quel’Danas, Harandar, Voidstorm, and Zul’Aman.

Seasonal Dungeons in Midnight

Midnight uses a seasonal dungeon rotation system. Not all new dungeons are available simultaneously on Heroic and Mythic difficulties. The rotation applies to Heroic and above, with these rules:

  • Heroic, Mythic0, and Mythic+ use seasonal rotation (only a specific set of dungeons is available each season).
  • Normal mode does not use rotation — all eight Midnight dungeons are always available.
  • Heroic and Mythic are harder than Normal and offer better rewards.
  • No timer in Heroic/Mythic; no affixes; you can change talents/specs inside.
  • Heroic can be entered via random or specific LFG queue.
  • Mythic0 has a daily lockout (each dungeon once per day at this difficulty).
  • If a dungeon isn’t in rotation, you can’t do it in Heroic/Mythic0/Mythic+ (only normal specific dungeon access).

Quel’Danas Dungeons

On the Isle of Quel’Danas and in Silvermoon, there are three available dungeons:

Magister’s Terrace

Magister’s Terrace in Midnight is a new interpretation of the old dungeon name. It’s located on the Isle of Quel’Danas in the Eversong Woods (/way 35.2 78.4). Main bosses include Arcanotron Custos, Seranel Sunlash, Gemellus, and Degentrius.

Windrunner Spire

Windrunner Spire is the ruins of the Windrunner family home on the west coast of Eversong Woods. Entrance: /way 35.2 78.4. Bosses include Emberdawn, Kalis, Commander Kroluk, and The Restless Heart.

Harandar has one new dungeon: The Blinding Vale. The entrance is in the south-west of Harandar at /way 26.4 78.1. Bosses include Lightblossom Trinity, Ikuzz the Light Hunter, Lightwarden Ruia, and Ziekket.
