How Delves Work in WoW Midnight

Delves are bite-sized instanced objectives built to be run solo or in a small group, with the difficulty scaling to your party size across Tiers 1 to 11. Each season rotates the reward track and adds new locations - Season 2 opens the Coiled Isle Delves, including The Ring of Glory, Gnarldor Isle and Venomfall Deeps. Once you are at the level cap they are the fastest solo path to weekly gear, currency and Great Vault progress.

Mistcrests, Loot and the Great Vault

Delves pay Mistcrests, the Season 2 crest used to upgrade your gear, scaling from the Adventurer track at the early Tiers up to the Hero track at Tier 11. Every run also fills a Bountiful Coffer with gear, and the item level climbs with the Tier you clear.

The Season 2 Nemesis: Azta'rec

Do I need to unlock the Delve Tier first?

Delve Tiers 1 to 3 are open to any level 90 character. Higher Tiers unlock as you finish the Midnight campaign and clear earlier Delves. Tell us your current Tier at checkout and the booster starts from the right point, or add a lower-Tier run to open the Tier you want.

Can I play my own character during the boost?

Yes. Delves scale to your party size, so with Self-Play you join the group and play your own character while the booster carries. Prefer to stay hands-off?
