Palworld New Weapons & Soralite Gear (1.0): Full Craft Guide

By Published Updated ~6 min

The complete Palworld 1.0 weapons and gear guide: all 13 new weapons by tier, the Soralite and Paloxite material chain, Ancient Series armor and 44 accessories, the Extra Weapon Holster and Wing Pack, and which weapons to craft first for the endgame.

Palworld 1.0 adds 13 new weapons and a full endgame gear tier, nearly all of it built from two new ores: Soralite (mined only in Sunreach) and Paloxite (mined only in the World Tree). The weapons span a deliberate range - from the early Primitive Sword to the top-of-tree Beam Launcher - so both fresh saves and capped veterans get new options. This guide lists every weapon with its tier and materials, maps the full crafting chain, and covers the new Ancient armor, accessories, and gadgets.

The short version: reach Sunreach to unlock the Soralite mid-tier, clear the World Tree for the Paloxite top-tier, and unlock the weapons that match the materials you can actually farm. Here is the full breakdown.

The spread breaks into three rough tiers: early-game weapons use basic resources (Wooden Board, Stone, Ingot), Soralite mid-tier weapons demand Soralite Ingot plus Carbon Fiber, Cryogenic Coolant, Bio Battery, and AI Cores, and the Paloxite endgame weapons (Beam Scatter, Drone Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Beam Launcher) require Paloxite Ingot and the rarest materials in the game.

The Material Chain: Soralite, Paloxite and Cores

The new weapons are only as reachable as their materials, so the real gate is the ore chain. Here is where each piece comes from:

Material
Source
Used for
Soralite Ore
Mine in Sunreach only (needs specialized equipment)
Smelt into Soralite Ingot at the Ancient Furnace
Soralite Ingot
Ancient Furnace, from Soralite Ore
The backbone of all mid-tier 1.0 weapons and Ancient gear
Paloxite Ore
Mine in the World Tree only (apply Holy Water first)
Smelt into Paloxite Ingot
Paloxite Ingot
From Paloxite Ore + World Tree Holy Water
The primary material for the top four energy weapons
AI Core
Advanced Workshop (unlock Lv67)
Wing Pack, Laser Sword, Ancient armor, high-tier guns
Thermal Core
Production Assembly Line II (unlock Lv59)
Armor, Ancient Technology, the Flying Wingsuit
Ancient Civilization Core
Boss and endgame content
Top-tier weapons like the Beam Launcher

The critical unlock order: you cannot smelt Soralite until you can reach Sunreach, and you cannot touch Paloxite until the World Tree is open and you carry Holy Water. Our Sunreach guide covers reaching the Soralite islands, and the World Tree guide covers the Paloxite endgame.

What to Craft First

Blueprints are gated by both level and materials, so unlock the ones you can actually feed. The proven priorities when you hit the new tiers:

  • Mechanical Bow (Level 67) - the standout first pick. It carries an enormous attack value while its arrows stay cheap to craft compared to firearm ammo, so it drops high-level bosses without draining your metal supply. A must-have the moment you can mine Soralite.
  • Prototype Shotgun - the best firearm entry point: it hits extremely hard and burns far less ammo per fight than the fully automatic rifles, easing the resource load during long sessions.
  • Heavy Assault Rifle - the heaviest mid-tier investment (100 Soralite Ingot and up), but a serious sustained-damage option before you reach Paloxite gear.
  • Laser Sword - the melee pick for players who prefer to close distance, cutting through targets with an energy blade for a modest AI Core cost.
  • Paloxite weapons last - the Beam Launcher blueprint unlocks at Level 78, but there is no point owning the blueprint while you are still farming its Paloxite, so save these for when the World Tree is a farmable routine.

Spend Technology Points on what your current farm supports, not on the flashiest icon - an unlocked blueprint you cannot fund is wasted points.

Ancient Armor and the New Defense Tier

Weapons are half the loadout. 1.0 adds the Ancient Series Helm, Armor, and Shield as the new top defensive set, crafted from the same Soralite and core materials as the mid-tier weapons and requiring Thermal Cores. Alongside it, defeating the new bosses rewards boss-appearance headgear - cosmetic helmets that let you wear the look of the bosses you have beaten. The Ancient set is the armor you aim for as you gear through Sunreach toward the World Tree, so route your early Soralite toward a weapon-plus-armor pairing rather than dumping it all into guns.

Accessories, Implants and the Schematic System

The accessory system was overhauled. There are 44 new accessories, and the old "+1/+2" upgrade tiers are gone - base accessories are now buffed to what used to be the "+2" level, and new ones are crafted from schematics found through exploration. Standouts include the Command Baton (strengthens your party Pals) and the Air Walker (expands your movement freedom), and some accessories now combine multiple effects. Two more additions round out character power: the Disposable Implant, used at the Pal Surgery Table and consumed on use to grant a stronger passive skill, and the Nutrient consumable, which temporarily stops hunger from draining on you or a Pal. Hunt Ancient Ruins and their minigames for schematics - they are how the best accessories enter your inventory.

Holster, Wing Pack and Gadgets

Two quality-of-life tools change how you fight and travel. The Extra Weapon Holster raises your equipped weapon count to six, so you can carry an element-matched answer for every situation - a real advantage against multi-phase bosses that swap typing. The Wing Pack is a glider that consumes Wing Cells for free flight without a flying Pal, opening traversal even before you breed a good mount. Resource gathering also gained the Plasma Multicutter, a faster harvesting tool for the new ores. Together they make the new-tier grind noticeably smoother.

Gearing Tips and Common Mistakes

  • Match blueprints to your farm. Unlocking a Paloxite weapon while you can only mine Soralite wastes Technology Points - build what you can feed.
  • Prioritize the Mechanical Bow. High damage on cheap arrows makes it the most resource-efficient boss-killer in the Soralite tier.
  • Farm Soralite in bulk. The mid-tier weapons and Ancient armor both drink Soralite Ingot - one Sunreach trip should fill several stacks.
  • Carry Holy Water for Paloxite. World Tree ore vanishes on approach without it, so a trip without Holy Water is a wasted trip.
  • Build the material Pals first. High-tier recipes need constant ingot refining, so set up strong Kindling and Handiwork workers (see our breeding guide) before the grind.
  • Use all six holster slots. Multi-phase and typeless bosses reward carrying several damage types at once.

FAQ

How many new weapons are in Palworld 1.0?

Thirteen: the Primitive Sword, Metal Bat, Mechanical Bow, Enhanced Lily's Spear, Combat SMG, Prototype Shotgun, Heavy Assault Rifle, Tactical Grenade Launcher, Laser Sword, Beam Scatter, Drone Launcher, Plasma Rifle, and Beam Launcher. They span early-game to endgame, with most requiring the new Soralite or Paloxite ingots.

Where do you get Soralite in Palworld?

Soralite ore can only be mined in Sunreach, the floating sky islands unlocked after clearing the Feybreak Tower. You smelt it into Soralite Ingots at the Ancient Furnace, and those ingots are the backbone of nearly every mid-tier 1.0 weapon and the Ancient armor set.

What is the difference between Soralite and Paloxite?

Soralite is mined only in Sunreach and powers the mid-tier weapons and Ancient armor. Paloxite is mined only in the World Tree, requires applying Holy Water before pickup or it vanishes, and is the primary material for the top four energy weapons: Beam Scatter, Drone Launcher, Plasma Rifle, and Beam Launcher.

What is the best new weapon to craft first?

The Mechanical Bow at Level 67. It carries an enormous attack value while its arrows stay cheap compared to firearm ammo, making it the most resource-efficient boss-killer in the Soralite tier. If you prefer guns, the Prototype Shotgun hits hard while using less ammo than the automatic rifles.

How many weapons can you equip in Palworld 1.0?

Up to six, once you craft the Extra Weapon Holster. Carrying multiple damage types at once is a real advantage against multi-phase bosses that swap elemental typing and the typeless final boss, so filling all six slots is worth the crafting cost.

What is the Wing Pack in Palworld?

A glider added in 1.0 that consumes Wing Cells to let you fly freely without a flying Pal. It opens up traversal early, before you have bred or caught a strong flying mount, and pairs well with the reworked movement system for smoother exploration.

Do you need schematics for the new weapons?

Most new weapons are unlocked normally on the Technology board with Technology Points. The exception is Weapon Schematics - rare blueprints found through exploration that let you craft a weapon directly as long as the schematic is in your inventory. The new accessories are also crafted from schematics found in Ancient Ruins.
