How 3v3 and the Comp Work

3v3 is a team of three built on synergy, not three solo players - which is why it stalls most people. On this boost you play with two pros: Self-Play means you queue on your own character with them, and Piloted means the full team plays for you. Either way the boosters build the comp around your class, so your spec is part of the plan - tell us up front whether you play a healer or a damage spec and we set the team accordingly. Every rating point is won in real, manually-played matches, no exploits. Early games can swing because match-making rating (MMR) resets and re-finds its level, and Self-Play fits when the target is within reach of your own play - the highest brackets are a Piloted job, because at that level a passenger loses games a trio of pros would win.

The Gladiator Reward at the Top of 3v3

3v3 is the only bracket that awards the Gladiator title and its seasonal mount - you cannot earn them in 2v2 or Solo Shuffle. Reaching the rating is only part of it: the Gladiator reward takes 50 wins at the top Elite bracket, so it is a grind on top of the climb, which is why it is sold as its own dedicated Gladiator service rather than folded into a rating push. Above Gladiator sits Rank 1, the top fraction of the whole ladder, which is a separate feat again. This page is the rating climb that gets you into range; the Gladiator title, its mount, and the Rank 1 push each have their own service. One accuracy note the ladder often blurs: the Legend title comes from Solo Shuffle, not 3v3.
