Which Key Level Actually Pays

Loot from a key does not climb smoothly with the number on it. It moves in brackets, several levels share the same reward, and the ladder stops before the keys do. The table below is where the end-of-dungeon drop and the Great Vault pick land at each step, and it is the honest answer to which key is worth buying: past the top bracket the loot no longer improves, and the reason to keep pushing is rating rather than gear.

Why Naming the Dungeon Changes What a Run Is Worth

Mythic+ scoring keeps only your best result in each dungeon. A second clear of the same dungeon at the same level replaces nothing and adds almost nothing to your total. That is what makes a random run and a named run genuinely different purchases: a random key goes to whichever dungeon is ready, which is fine when you are gearing and every drop counts, and close to wasted when the dungeon that comes up is one you already have banked at that level. If the goal is a score rather than loot, naming the dungeon you are behind on is the difference between a run that moves the number and a run that does not. Say which one on the order and the manager confirms it before the team is booked.

Timed and Untimed Runs Are Not the Same Purchase

Finishing a key and finishing it inside the timer produce different weeks. Either way the dungeon is completed, the end-of-dungeon loot for that level drops, and the run counts toward the dungeon row of your Great Vault. What the timer decides is the rest: an untimed clear drops the keystone a level instead of raising it, and the rating it returns is a fraction of a timed one. So an untimed run is still a real purchase if you are chasing gear and Vault progress, and close to pointless if you are chasing a score. Worth deciding which of the two you are actually buying before picking a level.

Do I get a dungeon teleport from these runs?

Teleports come from the per-dungeon achievement for completing that dungeon at keystone level 10 or higher inside the timer, so they are earned dungeon by dungeon on the way up rather than handed over at a rating threshold. A timed run at that level on a dungeon you have not done yet earns its teleport as a side effect.

Do I need to provide the keystone?

Not for a random run: the team brings a key at the level you ordered. If you have named a specific dungeon, mention on the order whether you are holding that keystone yourself, because it affects how quickly the run can be scheduled.

Can I play my own character instead of sharing my account?
