The catch most shops skip: PvP gear carries a lower item level out in the open world and a higher one inside rated arenas and battlegrounds, so the numbers that matter for arena and BG play are the rated ones - an Honor set sits around 315, and a full Conquest set climbs to up to 328 item level in rated play.

Why Conquest Takes Longer Than Honor

Honor is uncapped, so an Honor set comes together quickly once the farming starts. Conquest is different: it is earned under a weekly cap, so a full Conquest set builds over several weeks early in the season no matter how much you play - the cap, not skill, is the wall.
