Loot Options

Both Normal and Heroic run the same four loot options - pick per difficulty in the configurator:

Group Loot - you roll for drops with the other clients in the run. A smaller unsaved group means only a couple of items per boss, so this is the budget pick - it is about weekly Great Vault progress rather than a gear guarantee.

Unsaved Group Loot - the run is stacked with unsaved raiders, so more of each boss's loot drops and there is more to roll on, still shared with the other clients. Nothing is reserved - the roll winner keeps it - but your odds of leaving with gear go up.

Armor and Token Priority - your armor type and your tier tokens are reserved for you - no other client of your armor type rolls against you, and your class tokens are yours. Anything outside your armor type is still shared.

Full Priority - every drop for your class is yours - armor, your spec's stat pieces (necks, rings, trinkets and the rest) and tier tokens, none of it shared.

Why the Normal and Heroic Bundle

Normal and Heroic are the two difficulties most raiders actually run: Normal to see the fights and pick up a starter set, Heroic for relevant endgame gear and Ahead of the Curve. Buying them together suits a fresh or returning character that wants a full week of raid progress in one booking - the Normal clear gears you first, the Heroic clear upgrades on top, and the Heroic kill of Ula'tek earns the tier's Ahead of the Curve achievement while it is still current. One scheduled session covers both, instead of two separate bookings.

Two Weekly Lockouts, Double the Loot

Each difficulty keeps its own weekly lockout, so Normal and Heroic do not share loot eligibility - clearing both in the same week means two full passes through all eight bosses and two separate loot pools, not one. Your chosen loot option applies to each clear. The kills also stack toward your Great Vault: two full clears fill the raid row, and because Heroic kills count at Heroic quality, the single reward you pick from the Vault next reset can roll at the higher item level. It is the most loot the raid can give a single character in one week.

The One-Week Gear Ladder

The two clears form a ladder. Normal drops gear from 292 up to 302 item level and gets a fresh character raid-ready; Heroic then layers 305 to 315 on top, replacing the Normal pieces slot by slot. Both difficulties drop Venom Idol tier tokens toward your class set, so a week of the bundle can move you from entry-level straight into the set bonuses that define the tier. Running Heroic alone leaves gaps the Normal clear would have filled cheaply; running both closes them in a single session.

Do I get the loot from both the Normal and Heroic clears?

Yes. Normal and Heroic have separate weekly lockouts, so the bundle is two full clears with two independent loot pools, and the loot option you choose applies to each. A booster plays your character, so every drop the runs generate stays on your account.

Does this bundle include Ahead of the Curve?

Yes - Ahead of the Curve is earned by defeating the final boss, Ula'tek, on Heroic, which the Heroic clear in this bundle does. The Normal clear does not award it. Like every raid achievement of its kind, Ahead of the Curve retires when the next tier opens, so it is a current-tier reward.

Is the bundle cheaper than buying Normal and Heroic separately?

Yes - buying the two clears together costs less than ordering each on its own, and the exact saving is shown in the configurator when you build the order. You still choose the difficulty options and loot option for each clear.

Do I need a geared character, or can you carry both from scratch?

No gear minimum is needed - the team carries both difficulties regardless of your current item level. The Normal clear also gears you up before the Heroic run, so a fresh or returning character is fine. Play your own character with Self-Play (Raid Group), or stay hands-off with Piloted or Remote Desktop.
